04 May Beautiful garden art shared by Rosewood
May day has come and gone, so it’s time for us to share this month’s Belle Jardiniere illustration by the art nouveau artist Eugene Grasset. Beautiful garden art is always a pleasure to look at and this image is no exception. It seems that the garden task of May is picking flowers to arrange, although at Rosewood we’ve been far too busy for that! Even so, we’re delighted to see the irises blooming in the foreground, just as they are in our own gardens, and the lilies-of-the-valley too. In the distance there’s what looks to be a horse chestnut in blossom. The flowers on those near us are still green and haven’t opened yet but seeing this makes us look forward to when they do.
With all this, the thing we love most about the picture is that our beautiful gardener is now in short sleeves and a sunhat. We can’t wait for the warm weather to be here to stay! Don’t forget though, that once it is, an irrigation system is your garden’s best friend. If you don’t have one yet, give us a call on 01727 811448 before it’s too late!
