Ornamental Bark Mulch – Our New Service

January is always a time for thinking about new ventures and schemes. Rosewood is no exception, so we’re bringing something new to our list of garden services. We’re now aiming to be your go-to place for ornamental bark mulch.

Mulching is something Rosewood is used to supplying and laying. Every time we install a dripline irrigation zone in a garden, the final stage is applying mulch. The dripline hose looks a little unattractive pegged to the surface of a bed. Mulch not only creates a more attractive surface, but also prevents water loss through evaporation. It also inhibits weed growth!

Our new mulching service fulfils the same role in any garden bed or area. Whether you have an irrigation system or not, ornamental bark mulch prevents evaporation, stops the dreaded weeds from growing, and creates a clean and attractive surface to borders and pathways. It also works as a great way of filling in the bare circle left where trees are planted in lawns. Of course the mulch shouldn’t touch the trunk, but it can go very close, and looks much nicer than bare earth.

Don’t forget, our mulching service isn’t just for existing irrigation clients. We are happy to supply and lay mulch for any gardeners that require it. And you can rely on Rosewood’s reputation for great workmanship and first-class customer service. Tell your friends to get in touch!

PS As you can see from the picture above, we’re also starting a second new service this month: the supply and installation of water features, fountains and ponds. Read all about it here: new water features service
