11 Sep Rosewood’s September garden art for you
Well, the weeks have flown by again, and it’s time to share Rosewood’s September garden art with you. This image from Eugene Grasset’s Art Nouveau calendar, La belle jardinière, illustrates how our gardens look this month. (What do you mean? Surely you have a fountain like that….?). In September, you can see our gardener gathering some of those last summer flowers. The rowan tree is already covered in berries – autumn must be just around the corner. This is echoed in the fact that although she isn’t wearing a coat, our gardener has a shawl around her shoulders which is coming free in the wind.
It looks as though Grasset is telling us to make the most of the garden before the seasons change properly! Rosewood suggests the same. If the sun shines, make sure you enjoy any opportunity to be out there! And if you’re contemplating a new irrigation system ready for next summer, get in touch now. You can call us on 01727 811448, or use the form on our Contact page here.
And if you enjoyed Rosewood’s September garden art, you can look back through the blog to see more of Grasset’s work from previous months of the year, and keep checking back to see the rest of the illustrations in October, November and December.
